This is the back wall of the New Den Built in the basement. This house was built in the 1890's and the walls were sitting directly on the ground and rotting away. The back of the house was 3 to 4 inches lower then the rest of the house. The back end of the house was jacked up to match the rest of the house and a cement footing and this wall was installed. Along with the wall, a new back door and windows were installed also. This room is not completed yet but will be finished in another phase of the remodel.
